Stanco Plumbing Specialties, a family-owned plumbing specialties supplier, opened in 1974 to service serviced parts of North and all of South Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. From a modest beginning with three employees (Don Stancell - father, Liz Stancell - wife & mother, and Wayne Stancell - son), the business grew annually and increased to 33 employees. Since that time, Stanco (now TMS South) has served the plumbing supply needs of plumbing contractor, schools, health care, property management, apartment complexes, government housing, government buildings, military bases, prisons, and jails.
To better serve these growing markets, Stanco and several other non-competing industry suppliers formed a buying group. That association grew and allowed the companies to find common strengths and develop close personal ties. In 2007, Stanco and IMSCO merged to form Total Maintenance Solutions - South. This new company combines the strength and experience of over 30 years of service to provide you with reliable knowledge, an expanded inventory and unique expertise. The team of plumbing professionals at Stanco welcomed the opportunity to join with the other companies in TMS South organization because of the shared emphasis on friendly, knowledgeable people. We have always treated our customers like friends and family and continuing that legacy was of the utmost importance to everyone at Stanco.
